What's the difference between "Custom" and "Standard" product stubs?

Custom Stubs are products unique to you and your firm. These can be used for products like a custom area rug or a one of a kind light fixture. Custom Stubs are only visible to your firm and won't ever be converted into an official product like Standard stubs.

Standard Stubs are products you find online that do not currently exists in the Designer Pages catalog. You can consider them placeholder products until we get the brand to officially list the product on Designer Pages so that the information can be updated by the brand as appropriate. For your convenience, once the brand joins Designer Pages, we'll merge your stub with the official product listing.

What if I don't want anyone to see my Standard stubs?

Though we encourage you to create Standard stubs for products you find online, you can always create them as Custom Stubs if you prefer that they only be visible to your firm. The only downside to this is we will not ever convert the Custom stubs into an official product listing even if the brand joins Designer Pages.
