What does it mean to “Manage Quantities with Rooms”?

Managing Quantities with Rooms allows you to assign product quantities directly to individual rooms within your project.
When editing a spec, you can specify how many of that product belong in each room. This gives you a clear, room-by-room breakdown of quantities across your project.
You can create and manage Rooms from the Rooms tab at the project level, where you can:

• Add and organize rooms
• Assign products to rooms
• Define quantities for each product within each room

Any updates made at the room level will automatically appear in the Rooms & Quantities section of each spec—and vice versa. 

Why this matters

Managing quantities by room gives you a more granular and organized view of your project. It also enables features like:

• Filtering specs by room
• Grouping rooms into Programs for higher-level organization
• Generating more accurate reports and breakdowns
