Next to each spec inside a Folder, on the right side there is a three button icon. When you click on it, there's a dropdown list of options you can do with the Spec: Quick Edit, Edit, Add General Notes or Remove.
Quick Edit and Edit options are the ones that lets you edit product information. Both get the job done, but the difference between them is the amount of information you’re able to edit.
The Quick Edit option is meant for fast and small edits to the specification information. The goal here is to save you time when you need to make small changes to your specification.
To edit everything else, we still recommend the Edit option. When you click on it, a new page displays where you have access to all the fields and data elements for your specification. Fields like Image Details, Image Captions and PDF attachments can only be added here.
By selecting any other Specification Status option next to "Evaluated", more fields of information will display.
Consistently using the available fields will make generating specification records a snap. Tags, codes, description, notes, attributes and nested products are totally custom and can be added and edited over the life of your project.
