Can we host conversations about our specs in a project?

Yes. You can now host conversations directly within your specs using the Message Board feature. Each spec includes its own message thread, allowing your team to keep all comments and questions tied to the right product.

Where to find it

You’ll see a Message Board button in the top right corner of every spec's edit page. Clicking it opens a panel where you can view and post messages related to that spec.

How it works

• Click Message Board on any spec's edit page.

• Type a message in the text field and click Send.

• All messages remain linked to that spec for future reference.

• When you post a new message, everyone with activity in the project will receive an email notification, ensuring your teammates stay up to date.

When to use it

Use Message Boards to:

• Ask questions or clarify product details.

• Share design notes, installation guidance, or revisions.

• Keep a record of discussions that would otherwise get lost in emails or chat.

Who can view and participate

Anyone with access to the project can view and comment on a spec’s Message Board. Messages are automatically saved and visible to all teammates with project access.
