Help CenterYes. DP Bridge for Forma lets you push specs from your project directly into the submittal log of an Autodesk Forma project (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud), and pull submittal statuses back into DP so you can track progress without leaving your project.
Because Forma itself connects to Newforma, Procore, and many other construction platforms, sending your specs to Forma also makes them reachable from those tools downstream.
A few things to know before you start:
- DP Bridge for Forma requires a PRO Enterprise level account. If your firm is on PRO but not PRO Enterprise and wants to use this integration, contact us about upgrading.
- Your IT team needs to install the DP app into your firm's Autodesk environment using a token we provide. This is a one-time setup per firm. Reach out to us and we'll send the token and install instructions to share with IT.
- For each DP project, you'll paste the matching Forma Project ID into the project settings so DP knows which Forma project to talk to.
Once set up: in the project page, select the specs you want to send by clicking their images, or use "Select All on this page" / "Select All." From the top Action Bar, hover over the Forma icon and choose Send Data to create the submittals in Forma.
When the time is right, hover over the Forma icon again and choose Pull Data to bring the latest submittal statuses back into DP. You'll see each spec's current status — under review, approved, revise and resubmit, etc. — right alongside the spec in your project.
We recommend sending data to Forma once your spec list is reasonably stable, and pulling data periodically as submittals move through review.
