We’ve heard it time and again: “I’m specifying this product in Pale Sage, but the only photo available is bright blue.” Until now, your options were limited—either live with the mismatch, or fall back on our black-and-white filter to neutralize the color.
But now, you’ve got something better.
What is the AI Image Editor?
The AI Image Editor is a new feature built into Designer Pages PRO that lets you recolor images directly within the Edit Spec page. You can now swap out:
-
Upholstery colors
-
Wood tones
-
Metal finishes
-
...and even apply a custom COM
All without leaving your spec or needing a third-party design tool.
How Do I Use It?
-
Go to any product in your folder.
-
Click “Edit Spec” and then hit “Edit Colors.”
-
Select the surface you want to change.
-
Choose from a curated list of finish options—or use your nested selections.
-
Click Submit and let the magic begin.
Your new version will be saved alongside the original, and marked as the Active Image for the spec.
Can I Still See the Original Photo?
Yes! The original image is always preserved. You can toggle back and forth between the edited image and the original version at any time.
Is This Available to Everyone?
For now, yes — we’re making the AI Image Editor available to all PRO users as part of a limited-time rollout.
Starting January 1, 2026, access will be limited to PRO Ultra subscribers and above.
No installation needed — the feature is already live in your account.
What’s Next?
This is the second AI-powered tool we’ve introduced in Designer Pages PRO. (The first was our AI Description Tool, which helps you write spec descriptions in seconds.)
We’re building toward a future where product data is clean, visual assets are editable, and your entire spec workflow is faster, more visual, and a lot less manual.
